Helping children, teenagers and families has been a crucial goal in my career. I have dedicated my time to work with the youth since I was 17 years-old. During the time I was student in university in Paris I worked as a camp counselor for children and teenagers where I was instructing skiing during the winter, and sailing/ windsurfing in the summer. Between Paris and California I had the opportunity to receive a double training from France and the US and therefore I can practice in both countries. I graduated from Paris V, University of René Descartes (Faculty of Behavioral Psychology), and Paris VI, Marie-Curie (Faculty of Sciences) with a double Master Degree in Neuroscience and in Clinical Psychopathology. In addition, I received a Diploma of University in Cerebral Aging (the Faculty of Medicine) at Paris VII, Lariboisière. I have done clinical research on Infant and Genetic Development in Autism, Dyslexia, Major Depression and Alzheimer’s disease. I worked for three years in Gerontology for a hospital in Paris where I did Neuropsychological evaluations for elderly patients who had strokes or dementia. After finishing school while in Paris, I worked with youth as an Educational Psychologist in a clinical setting. I moved to the United States in 2000 and took time off after I had my first child before returning to my field. I extended my education by attending classes from the psychology program at Santa Clara University. I became a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in 2008. I have been working in private practice in San Jose and Cupertino since 2005. In 2009 I started working in a local non-profit agency with a child psychiatrist. I was able to help him to develop the agency. In 2013 I became Clinical Director of an Intensive Outpatient Program in a local agency. I had the opportunity to design and create a program for adolescents suffering from severe symptoms of depression, anxiety, who had been suicidal, were inflicting self-harm and/or were refusing to go to school. In 2018 I have founded a new Program for Technology Addiction called Screen Addiction Program (SAP) for teens who were struggling with video games, Internet or Social Media Addiction. The programs I have created include a comprehensive, and a scientific approach for children and families. Building the program allowed me to see different aspect of the business from the clinical to the administrative perspective. I also enjoy the community outreach work to build alliance with different people from the community (school, other agencies, districts, hospitals…). My approach is more focused on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mentalization Based Therapy.

My devotion for children and teenagers is one of my passions. I enjoy passing on to them my positive nature, my energy, my happiness, my hope for life and its successes. I work to guide children, teenagers and adults  build strength, make good choices and decrease family struggles. I enjoy using different languages in my work. I speak and write French, English and Spanish. I understand some German and Hebrew.

During my free time, I spend time with my family. My children are involved in sport which gave me the opportunity to co-coach soccer and softball. I strongly support my children with their activities. We also love traveling and we always take advantage of the airplane connections to visit other European countries while we go to France. Besides the fun with my family, I enjoy running, skiing, cooking and painting on big walls and on small canvas.
